Grinding Machine
We can offer CNC machining on our 4 axis machining centres, made by Heckert. The client has 5 of them. As well they have a couple of Beaver 2/3 axis turning machining centres. Jobs can be worked on with a fairly fast turnaround, from approval of sample, steel stock availability allowing. They are capable of working down to 10 microns of tolerance, utilising the latest versions of AutoCAD to receive your drawings. In addition to the 4 axis machining centres, they have Takisawa CNC lathes, with CNC bar-feed lathe equipment and CNC honing on a Jones & Shipman machine. They can do cylindrical grinding from 20mm to 400mm, going to a depth of 315mm. Cylindrical grinding and CNC machining are core skills for them. Hard chroming and nickel ceramic is done on site also as part of work they do, as are quantities of internal and external grinding. Smaller jobs can be done by CNC bar-feed lathe equipment All jobs are to BS EN ISO 9000: 2000 quality standards, with full guarantee through individual inspection.
